design of a shaft to be located next
to an existing reservoir.
The local council and local residents
were concerned about a possible
damage to the reservoir triggered
by the construction works.

a more detailed output about the
expected displacement and bending
moment triggered by the
construction stages.
Achievement
The solution proposed by Macfema
showed a neglectable risk for
the reservoir due to the shaft
construction.
